Here is a little bit of information about the people you might expect to meet when you visit the salon:

Hi there! , I am Cathy the groomer and salon owner here at Waggy Tails. I grew up in Australia but even as a child I had itchy feet. I left Australia at age 17 with a Canadian working holiday visa and a 1 way ticket to Canada where I stayed for 5 years. Since then I have lived in New Zealand, Fiji then The United Kingdom until 2016 when I got a UK passport that said EU on the cover so we moved to The Netherlands.

After 30 years working in IT I decided it was time for a change and started Waggy Tails in 2021 setting out to create a friendly neighborhood salon that grooms the local dogs. We groom all sizes, types and temperaments and handing out the cookies is an important part of my job.

I have been grooming for 5 years and hold both UK and NL certified diploma and the salon is certified by the ABHB.

Hey Hey! I’m Diana, your gentle dog bather at Waggy Tails!
Born & raised in a traveling circus in Mexico, I’ve been around animals my whole life, but dogs have always had a special place in my heart since I saw my first acrobatic pink poodle!
I moved to Las Vegas in 2000 and lived there for 15 years. Then moving to The Netherlands for love in 2015.
I’m a proud dog mom to two white extremely spoiled maltese doggies, which you might see from time to time at the salon!
At Waggy Tails; from the first splash to the final towel dry, my goal is for your dog to feel comfortable, safe, and utterly pampered. Bath time should be a happy time for your furry friend & can’t wait to see your dog wag their tail all the way home after a refreshing and enjoyable bath with me!

Hi my name is Rick van der Wijst and I am the owner and veterinarian of Prikaanhuis.nl. I graduated from Utrecht University in 2021. Following my graduation, I started working as a companion animal veterinarian in Delft. Since the summer of 2025 Cathy and I started collaborating. Every two months I visit Waggy Tails for several hours, offering the possibility to have your pet vaccinated and checked. If you are interested you can find more information here.
I live together with my girlfriend Sandra and my two cats Hailey & Koekie in Delft. Additionally, I volunteer at Kinderboerderij en Waterspeeltuin Tanthof, a local petting zoo. I am also the chairman of the union for veterinarians (BPL).
